Install
npm (recommended)
Needs Node.js 22 or newer.
npm install -g wyrm-mcpOn npm 12 or newer, npm skips dependency install scripts by default, so the install reports success and wyrm then fails with "Could not locate the bindings file". Install with the build scripts allowed instead:
npm install -g wyrm-mcp --allow-scripts=wyrm-mcp,better-sqlite3,onnxruntime-node,protobufjsProvides: wyrm-mcp, wyrm, wyrm-setup, wyrm-loop, wyrm-ui, wyrm-guard, wyrm-statusline, wyrm-memo. (The HTTP API is wyrm serve.)
npx (no install)
npx wyrm-mcpTermux / proot-distro on Android
Run inside a Fedora / Ubuntu / Debian proot-distro guest:
dnf install -y gcc gcc-c++ make python3 sqlite-devel # apt equivalent on Ubuntu
npm install -g wyrm-mcpThe wyrm-mcp preinstall hook detects Android/Bionic toolchains and patches Node's common.gypi so better-sqlite3 builds cleanly. Opt out with WYRM_SKIP_TERMUX_FIX=1.
Verify
wyrm-mcp --version
wyrm-ui # opens http://localhost:3333/ui in your default browserNext
→ Run wyrm-setup to connect every installed AI client, then restart it and ask it to call wyrm_capabilities. Projects enrol themselves the first time Wyrm sees a git repository, so there is no separate scan step.
